I am building more icons for Icon Series II and would like to know what you'd like to see more of.
You may share Icons Series I, and if you choose to freely distribute these icons, you must include this read me file without change and without charge for the icons.
Since it is easy to customize and change icons on the Mac, we do. While some of the icons included in this collect are strictly for fun, some are very functional and can make daily operations easier.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION:
In this collection you should find 7 folders, each with "Open Me" in there title. Each of these folders has a different collection of icons inside. While you can attach them to whatever you wish, all these icons have been applied to folders.
Open me - icons inside
Inside this folder you'll find 30 icons, computer icons, hard drive, floppy disks, and some icons for specific programs. I didn't like folder icons for Netscape Navigator™, so I redid them. I've included them here. Same goes for the newsgroups folder. Cyber Dog had a nondescript extension icon, so I added the dog paw print. The same for Mac-in-Talk extension.
Open me - folders inside
There are 24 icons in this mostly-for-fun group. It is a mixture of several collections in the works. From the Brand Names Collection, pizza and soap, From NiteCity, the twin towers of World Trade Center in NY and a non-specific night scene, John Belushi from a collection I'm calling Icons of Our Culture. Cheap Sex is from a series called Tacky, and no there's nothing inside, (just like cheap sex). Since I am releasing this is December of 1996, I've include a couple Christmas ornaments. I've also use the right and left pointers for serious things, like leaving instructions on a floppy, etc.
Open me - more folders inside
In this collection are 12 folders that I devised for use with file servers, file sharing etc.
This is where icons can enhance the process of communication. Friends who use them say they are very helpful. (Well, the rainbow, happy and unhappy folders were just for fun)
Open me-Galaxies/Comets inside
This has 5 icons of space objects. some art, some miniature photos. I haven't figured what I want to do with this collection (serious or fun) as yet, but I am presenting them for you feedback.
Open me - Art Gallery inside
This collection has 10 icons. I'd like to add more to this collection.
Open me - Alphabet inside
I created this for my hard disk filing system to begin with. However a few friends with a lot of fonts have found these great for storing fonts alphabetically. I have 3 different complete alphabets at this time. Here is one of them.
Open me-Color Blocks Inside
This contains 18 icons that are as simple as the get. They are just blocks of color. A friend who is also a graphic designer likes them for their simplicity and impact.
